Solar glass houses: the SPA Mosaïc is now opening in Georges Blanc |
Especially known for its ability to transport us to gastronomic Nirvana, Georges Blanc is now taking charge of quenching our thirst for well-being. With SPA Mosaïc, this invincible perfectionist has been absolutely resourceful and turned the old orangery into a very famous Vonnas restaurant. It houses 750m2 open to the plants, water and vines, a pool with fountains, water-massages and of course a hammam, Jacuzzi, fitness room and solarium, and face and body care rooms. It's a dream place, where you can forget about the little sins you committed elsewhere…

Bird Park in Villars les Dombes |
No borders: such is the motto of the Bird Park situated in the Dombes, hosting more than 2,000 species from all over the world. An extraordinary sanctuary whose richness and diversity are partly due to the migration corridor that goes through the area. Now that last winter's threat of avian flu has gone, the flocks of birds have regained their cheerfulness with the sunshine. You will have unrestricted encounters in a breathtaking landscape, especially with the wild geese and the common cranes that are attracted by the several thousand ponds along the Dombes. 2007 Surprise: opening of an Australian outback, with an aviary in which typical Australian species frolic. If you like tender moments, don't miss the nursery.
