At this 68th Bol d’Or regatta, it’s not quite impossible that the Gold trophy will be awarded definitively. Should Alinghi be the winner, it would be presented with the Gold trophy after its victories in 2002 and 2003. A heated contest where, beside internationally renowned helmsmen others competitors less known and amateur yachtsmen will share their passion to sail during two days on the now famous path Genève-Le Bouveret.

Impossible to resist: Picodon, this little goat's cheese with its strong personality, is everywhere. In the Drôme and also in the Ardèche, it takes centre stage in festivals which are entirely dedicated to it. The village of Saoû en Drôme gives it a place of honour for a whole weekend: tasting the little local miracle with all its flavours at the different stages of its maturing accompanied by appropriate displays - music, songs, dances - and craft stalls.

Taste it if you are not afraid of falling prey to the «Picodon addiction». The fans of this little cheese even organise themselves into clubs. This truly local product is also credited with space adventures. Indeed, the story is told of a French astronaut in 1996 who was participating in an American mission and thought of bringing his favourite cheese with him - one for each day of his flight - and ended up sharing it with his travel companions. That's what's called the «Picodon Attitude».

La BD est de retour à Sierre. Le but de l'Association récemment constituée «Sierre secoue la Bande Dessinée» est de faire coïncider l'espace urbain de la Ville avec le thème de l’événement et de valoriser ainsi de manière originale la Cité sierroise. L’édition 2006 se fixe pour objectif de développer un dialogue novateur et original entre le 9ème art et différentes disciplines artistiques. Avec la rue du Bourg comme épicentre, musique, arts scéniques et bien sûr bande dessinée se partageront la vedette trois jours durant. On y retrouvera les ténors de la BD avec notamment Tardi, Mix et Remix et Drozophiles – qui célèbrent leur 10 ans d’existence – mais également de jeunes talents qui présenteront en concours leurs créations à un jury composé de professionnels.
