Trans-Border Festival - Dansez! 20.04 - 05.05 Print
Image10 years on already! Created in 1998, « Dansez! » breaks through the frontier once again and offers an eclectic program between Château Rouge in Annemasse and the Théâtre de l'Usine and la Salle des Eaux Vives in Geneva. As per its tradition, the festival invites both amatuer and experienced artists. Dancers from the Compagnie Propos and a group of CE2 students from the Ecole des Hutins in Annemasse will perform the seven « Publicités » pieces, which are small choreographed plays of 30 seconds to 5 minutes. This 2007 edition will also bring back Bill T. Jones, an American world dance star, and promises a few unforgettable moments in the presence of about 10 artists and groups from all walks of life.

And then on April 29th, it will be your turn to put on your slippers: to celebrate World Dance Day, schools and dance teachers from the Genevan region will offer introductory dance classes. Open to all. The day will close on the stage of the Grand Théâtre de Genève with a lively Ball by DJB starting at 7:30pm. A festival that will end in beauty with the crazy night of Saturday May 5th, where performances, surprises and...  encounters will get you dancing until the crack of dawn.
