Art & découverte : Académie d’été de la région de Sierre

Troquez l'habit de touriste contre celui plus aventureux de l'explorateur, de l'expérimentateur curieux ou de l'amateur gourmand ! C'est ainsi que l'Ecole cantonale d'art du Valais convie le public à découvrir le Valais par le petit bout de la lorgnette pour des expériences inédites et inoubliables.

Pour un week-end ou une semaine, vous partez pour une longue balade avec un artiste, peintre, sculpteur ou encore photographe. Une initiation à la fois artistique et culturelle, avec la possibilité de visiter quelques trésors cachés du patrimoine régional et de goûter des produits du terroir. Une académie d'été qui se terminera en apothéose le 20 septembre avec une participation au Festival de musique classique de Zermatt sous forme de différentes interventions artistiques.

Anzère: a need of fresh air

Built of the sit of ancient pastures, the village of Anzère faces due south. Perched on a plateau, in the heart of the swiss Alps, the village enjoys a mediterranean microclimate. In the region, one can find primitive rural structures and altitude pasture dwellings, made of wood and stone. The pedestians only Village Square is the centre of village life. It is a good opportunity to socialise and get to know others.

Glacier and "bisses" (alpine water canals)

One week of hiking to discover the glacier of theWilhorn and the numerous "bisses" (water canals) of the region. On the programme, the « bisse » of Sion and Ayent, Tzeuzier Dam, Audannes mountain hut, old town and vineyards of Sion.

Meeting Oldtimer Valais: 30.05.2009

Nées avant 1979 ? Qu'elles appartiennent à une moto, à une voiture, à un camion ou même à un tracteur, les anciennes mécaniques ont rendez-vous ce 30 mai à la Place des casernes à Sion. Une cinquième édition agrémentée de la présence de l'auteur-compositeur Francesco Saraceno - qui interprétera pour l'occasion des tubes des années 50's, 60's et 70's - de l'amicale des Véhicules du Jura et de l'Amicale Porsche Classic.
