Hôtel East West, a happy blend of East and West Print

When you arrive at  l'Hôtel East West, you will leave your karma (meaning your daily share of worries and troubles) at the threshold for, here, everything is done to relax your mind and recharge your spirit. In this hotel, a zen attitude is the true art of living. At the meeting of two worlds, East West cultivates the best of what East and West have to offer: soberness and elegance, luxury and discretion, comfort and simplicity. Each object seems the fruit of a never-ending quest, whether it concerns a  set of Thai marriage jewellery, or woodcuts of chiné kimonos in the galleries of Chinese art.

Opened in December 2007, East West belongs to the «small luxury hotel» category and can take pride in being the first of its kind in Geneva. In a wengé decor, in rich purples mixed with browns, the hotel has 41 rooms, right at the heart of the city.  The decor, sober and refined, with  sophisticated finishing touches, can make one believe that perhaps true luxury is the art of being luxurious without seeming to be! At the back of the building is the jewel of this unique place: 2 suites designed like contemporary homes. Between these two houses, a patio decorated with bamboo and a waterfall invites you to meditate on the Land of the Rising Sun.

It goes without saying that the hotel has a fitness room, a private salon, a library, and above all a restaurant offering tantalising flavours, thanks to the several times over star-awarded talent of the Pourcel brothers.

Staying too long at East West can trigger a serious desire to practice Tai-Chi!
