« I'm the one who made it! » That's what you can say to your friends while leaving Katrépices. Opened last April, this unique new concept in restaurants in Geneva rests on a principle that is simple and playful: the « cosy cooking factory ».
As soon as you arrive, you slip on an apron, before installing yourself in front of an immense central oven, and let yourself be guided by the precious advice of the Chef. An amusing apprenticeship, a seasonal cuisine, a beautiful table for tasting, these are the ingredients of the success of Katrépices which has always been full, since its opening...
At lunch, count on a ½ hour of preparation; at night time, two hours of class will be necessary to simmer the little dishes that, miraculously, you will normally be able to reproduce at home!
A warm and polished decor, a relaxed but studious atmosphere where each person is busy mincing, peeling or snipping, before passing on to the table to delight their taste buds! Katrépices also offers a boutique where you can find your favourite ingredients, a delicatessen, a wine cellar, without forgetting, of course, a complete range of kitchen utensils... good tools making, it seems, good workers!
Note that for singles, one night is reserved each month for 6 girls and 6 guys (according to the same cooking principles), a way maybe of no longer melting with pleasure only in front of their plate...
