Neuchâtel Roule: free bicycle rental to visit the region |

Let's bicycle !  After Geneva, Lausanne, Berne, Thun and Zurich, it is now the turn of the City of Neuchâtel to launch a free bicycle rental scheme.
The concept, part of "Agenda 21", the sustainable development program of the Swiss Confederation, provides for the rental of a bicycle on a daily basis to anybody interested. The only condition: pay a security deposit and present official identification papers. Sponsored by the commercial businesses of the region, the idea has nothing but advantages: explore the region, get some exercise and contribute to a good cause, since the program provides jobs and training to asylum seekers and the long term unemployed.
