The caves under the Zinal glacier: guided visit |

 It was during a mountain trek in 1996 that Stéphane Albasini, the guide, discovered the caves under the Zinal glaciers. A huge blue-tinged icy vault with thousands of air bubbles and frozen concretions contrasting the enormous stone blocks in the ground, the features of this universe evolve every year. A grandiose and poetic spectacle to discover at the end of winter, ideally, - the water flow makes entry impossible in the summer - after an approximately two hour journey in snowshoes from the village of Zinal.
