A dream weekend on the Côte roannaise Print

ImageCôte Roannaise, a tranquil region locally known simply as "la Côte", lies just north of the Loire, 10 kms to the west of the gourmet city Roanne.

This area is the junction between the roannaise plain (300 m above sea level) and the Monts de la Madeleine (1152 m altitude), the nascent foothills of the Massif Central.  The region enjoys a microclimate that is responsible for the growth of the vine and the flourishing of the remarkable Côte Roannaise vineyard.

A region that is still fairly unknown and yet has all the trumps that make a dream weekend or holiday!
