Functional comfort at Lyon Gambetta

For around 40 euros, you have a spacious and pleasant bedroom with ergonomically-designed bed and bedding, hanging space, a desk, a TV with a choice of channels, a bathroom with WC, shower and wash-basin. The hotel chain is present in France and Germany, and as indicated on the hotel website (http://www.villageshotel.com/), the soundproofing in the rooms is perfect. We tested the hotel at a time when it was virtually full and even if you wake to the slightest sound (which is my problem), you will not be disturbed by any noise outside the room. A warning, however, don’t forget to alert the hotel if you intend arriving after 19.00 hrs for if the hotel is full, you may find that the room has been given to someone else and you will have to look elsewhere! Also, after 21.00 hrs, finding someone in the reception area can be a problem.  You can also reserve a room, if one is available, by using the computer point at the hotel entrance and pay by credit card. A great address for those who are not afraid of tapping on a keyboard.
