 Definitely one of the oldest restaurants in Lyon. Beautiful panelling, tables and chairs in wood: nothing seems to have changed over the past three centuries. It is even said that it's where Richelieu and Mazarin met! As for Bertrand Tavernier, there is the 1976 « Juge et l'Assassin ». Historic site or a set for film shoots , the Café is primarily a reference point for gourmands who come to taste the sumptous pike quenelles (probably the best in the city) and other really good traditional specialties like chicken morel.
