Horse-riding in Genevois Haut-Savoyard

Revered by the Greeks and adulated by the Indians and the Arabs, the horse has, since time immemorial, evoked man's desire for domestication. If in the past the most coveted member of the horse family was used above all in agriculture or as an animal of conquest and of war, it is today the ideal companion for leisure activities. The Genevois Haut-Savoyard territory has many riding centres that allow one to practise dressage, show jumping, equestrian games, cross-country rides or cantering. To explore equally, horse or pony grooming which enables one to develop an excellent relationship with these animals, who are so full of character. Children from the age of three can also be introduced to horse riding with ponies adapted to their size.
