It's located in a beautiful patrician building and nestled in the heart of the Montessuit municipal park, which the Annemasse centre for contemporary art set up in 1986. For 20 years, Villa du Parc has been using its 300m² platform to present monographic and collective exhibits from national and international artists, as well as offering guided tours, conferences, and meetings with artists and art critics.

This beautiful adventure's crowning achievement is a garden party. Under the leadership of Jean-Luc Brisson, artist, landscapist and director of the visual arts' department at École Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles, the park will be transformed into an «imitation navel.» It's a slightly «Oulipien» project to be inaugurated with a joyous garden party, performances and concerts. The Villa's new veranda will also be officially inaugurated in 2006. Do not miss the continuous showing of videos by John Wood & Paul Harrison.
