 After its successful 2006 release, «Compagnie des gens d'ici» (The Company of the Local People) returns to its summer residence in Genevois Haut-Savoyard. So the actors, storytellers, musicians, artists, photographers and technicians are in residence for a season, along with their poetic spirit. The young troupe puts on shows in unusual and simply sublime surroundings, bringing together different aspects of art, and inviting you to travel and meet people. In Habère-Poche and the Vallée Verte, enjoy a guided walk up to 13th century Persia, find ancient cafés, visit an untraditional mountain chalet, be carried away by the Musiques des Alpes, listen to the « instrumentarium » of a modern-day trouvère, and discover a mutant jazz orchestra.
And because the « Gens d'ici » value creativity, everyone is invited to participate in theatre, dance and musical expression workshops, and meet the Compagnie members over festive breakfast gatherings. For you to enjoy until the end of August 2007 in Habère-Poche and other Vallée Verte villages.
