La Fontaine d'Argence propose 5 chambres d'hôtes spacieuses dont une spécialement aménagée pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Une décoration soignée qui a conservé les éléments d'origine - murs en pierres, poutres apparentes - un mobilier chiné avec passion, des aquarelles et des sculptures signées Gilles et Françoise ! Village Club Med Avoriaz revisits the seventies |

 All beautiful, all new: the Avoriaz Village Club Med has had a makeover in 2007. A whole mix of orange colour and wood reminiscent of canadian cedar tavaillons covering the resort facades. Add a few pretty touches - carpets with imprints of ski tracks in the snow, artifacts from the region or also motifs of former skiers - and you get a seventies style whose character has been conceived by Gilles Leborgne, the designer. A residence with 260 rooms that opens directly onto the ski area of Portes du Soleil, and its approximately 700 km of tracks spread out upto Switzerland.

The caravan of the Jument verte |

 The latest trend: caravan accommodation. More original than a hotel, much more stylish than camping, the concept allows you to be closer to nature without having to compromise on comfort. Take the superb caravan of the "Jument verte", equipped with its own bathroom (!), settled in Trévignin, a village situated on the higher banks of the "Lac du Bourget", in the garden of a comfort inn. The latter offers a restaurant with gourmet menu, as well as a few extras, in comparison to the strict bohemian, such as beds made upon arrival and towels provided.
