ImageThis is, anyway, how Bernard Binaud defines his cuisine! This chef, who worked alongside Paul Bocuse for many years, has been officiating now at the foot of the Vallée Verte for 16 years.

Entirely renovated last June, the restaurant welcomes its guests in a décor which hovers between tradition and modernity. « I wanted an impressive entrance hall but a comforting dining room ! ». The gamble paid off for this chef !  The hall - both sober and elegant -, gives way to a bright dining room in chocolate tones and white touches, working together to create a peaceful and cosy ambience. At the centre of the dining room, a big dazzling white leather sofa holds court, encouraging you to enjoy your dishes side by side, instead of face to face ! In the kitchen, Bernard Binaud takes pride in treating his guests with seasonal and preferably local products. «It is a cuisine that is traditional, revamped, and light, » - as he himself likes to say - but that has kept all of its flavour !

Nearby, a smaller room offers the intimacy and privacy suited to family or business meals. In summer, the terrace - an extension of the large dining room - lets you make the most of lunch in the sun.

Referenced in the Bottin Gourmand, the Michelin and the Champérard guides, Le Pré d'Antoine remains a good spot for someone who wants to savour, in a pleasant environment, everything culinary tradition has to offer...
