Côte roannaise: where to eat ? |

- Here food is the order of the day. Of course, it's impossible to avoid Troisgros, a palatial restaurant in Roanne, a gourmet adventure within the confines of pleasure. If on a more modest budget (about 25 euros menu), go next door : to the Central Restaurant (+ 33 (0)4 77 67 72 72), the Troisgros bistro with a central open-plan kitchen and fantastic food.
- In Ambierle, make a reservation quickly at the Le Prieuré restaurant: a cuisine full of flavours offered by the talented chef Thierry Fernandes (menus from 37 to 63 euros).
- Simpler and very authentic: rush to the rustic auberge of St Rirand (+ 33 (0)4 77 65 76 46), the program : local cooked meats, frog legs and the best grattin dauphinois in the county ! The menu, less than 20 euros : + 33(0)4 77 65 76 46.
