Route de la Bresse : by bike or by car

200 km of marked itinerary. Start with the Brou Royal Monastery in Bourg en Bresse, a gem of  Gothic style built in the 16th century by Marguerite to honour the love she had for her husband Philibert le Beau who passed away at an early age. Continue the visit with the countryside and the picturesque farms with Saracen chimneys. Don’t miss the Romanesque church Saint-André-de-Bâgé. A trip that will not leave you hungry, as it will also be possible to taste  in the different restaurants regional gastronomic treasures: “Poulet de Bresse “ (Bresse chicken), cheese AOC and quenelles.
