A night in an igloo in Habère-Poche

What about an Inuit night? After a short trek in the snow, Boris Tourne, mountain escort, will invite you into his igloo. Fondue and caribou fur will be ready to keep you warm. Then you'll slip into a fluffy sleeping bag. A unique experience that will teach you how to build a state of the art igloo. A craft which allows the inside temperature to reach 2 degrees Celsius, the same as a on a cool August night in thousand meter high mountains. Not so cold !

Adopt the «Brunch Altitude»

From now on, the endless boring Sundays are definitely over with the «Brunch altitude». You can choose between 17 locations, from January to April 2007, to share a healthy meal combined with cultural or physical activities. Massif des Brasses: nice flat snow at the gates of Geneva

A skiing weekend for less than 100 Euros? This is what the Brasses resort is offering with, as a bonus, a day of alpine skiing and a day of cross-country skiing including a savoyard meal and an evening of snowshoeing. Take this on as a couple! For those who do not know the resort, Brasses has 13 slopes of all colours, the blue Poses trail has incidentally been redone and forms a brand new boulevard that descends from the summit of the Brasses to Onnion. As for the cross-country ski trails, their curves gently unwind on the extraordinary Plain-Joux plateau. 50 km of marked trail at 1250 m and all that directly in front of the Mont Blanc. Conclude it with an evening spent snowshoeing, to savour a different ambiance and to grow intoxicated by the powdery snow under the eye of the moon.

Premier film: Annonay fait son cinéma du 2-12.02

24ème coup d'envoi pour le Festival qui met à l'honneur les jeunes réalisateurs du monde entier. 8 premiers films de tous pays en compétition, avec un coup de projecteur spécial sur le cinéma suisse en l'honneur de la «Belle voisine», programme destiné à favoriser les échanges artistiques entre les deux pays. La section thématique du Festival portera cette année sur les «road movies», l'occasion de revoir des grands classiques tels que Parix-Texas ou encore la balade sauvage. A ne pas manquer également la programmation spéciale consacrée à des films tournés en numérique (DVD ou format mini DV), réalisés avec des moyens professionnels et films d'école réalisés par des étudiants en cinéma.

Ski and snowshoe under the moon

On a beautiful full-moon night, put on your snowshoes for a get-together on a typical Jurien farm, and fondue sampling. A nocturnal walk offered by the mountain guide, Barbara Fetz, twice a month until March. To do among friends, or to make new ones.
