From the church tower to the modern towers, story of a city

ImageWho does not know the church of Sainte-Croix? Many of us have entered the church, guided by faith, by curiosity or to enjoy the concerts of Spring and Autumn. But, do you know that this is the only Piemontese baroque building in the canton of Geneva? Its chime is the largest in Switzerland with its 36 bells. We have to make the effort to climb the narrow stairs right to the top, in order to personally meet the bell ringer. Among the heights of Carouge, we certainly cannot forget the «Towers», built by daring architects and property developers. They represent today a new quarter as carougeois as the Old Carouge, completely integrated into the life of the Commune.
