Sleepless Nights at Palais Mascotte

So night owls could enjoy themselves, the Palais Mascotte finally reopened its doors, after ten long years of being closed. You're not dreaming, it's really the leader of the majorettes, the Mascot herself, who will come and welcome you with her most enticing smile.

Located in the heart of the Pâquis, this old postal relay station, transformed into a nightclub with dance floor in 1887, rises up from its ashes under the benevolent eye and impetus of its present owner, Jean François Schlemmer. No doubt about it, the Palais Mascotte has revived the great tradition of the burlesque cabaret, and has preserved its soul while keeping only the best of its reputation. That is to say, its ability to unite people of different horizons for an evening in an atmosphere of good-natured playfulness. We sing, we dance, we laugh, in a succession of comic numbers, French songs, jazzy notes, or to disco music and dancing at a pace that's really a bit kitsch. Unusual, timeless and, especially, joyful, this spot, which now has three rooms, just can't be compared with any other place. The Palais Mascotte, open every night from 6 pm to 5 am, almost makes us feel like going round the clock, except for the blisters on our feet reminding us that it's really time to go to bed! The door charge varies, according to the night of the week, from 5 chf to 15 CHF, which means it won't throw your budget into turmoil, so let's meet  on the steps of the Palais.
