A Must: Absinthe shower ! Print
Swiss Cosmolab: rediscover the scents of olden dany

ImageIn brand new premises equipped with the latest technology, at a stone's throw from the absinthe and gentian fields, the small Swisscosmolab team takes great care. Established in May 2004, the laboratory of Val-de-Travers which produces the series "Nature and Sense" constantly expands its cosmetic family: face and body creams, hair care, bath, sport and sun series.

Among the preparations with plants from the region: absinthe, which the laboratory, one of the few in the world, uses as a cosmetic because of its benefits as a decongestant and relaxant or gentian known for its stimulating properties. The preparations from Ladislav, the house chemist, use essential oils and let us rediscover that beauty products can have a truly natural scent. We liked the thick creams with very little water content, the Ladislav "all-purpose" balm, smooth and mysterious, the delicate scent of the Absinthe shower. And most of all, we have tested the legendary cream Pol&Jan, produced for the first time in 1934 to protect the hands of lathe operators and farmers, a small dab of which is enough for the whole day.

The series "Nature & Sense" is worth the detour precisely for its good sense: no useless perfumes or preservatives. Even if fitness and wellness centers or beauticians are the main clients of the brand, it is possible to obtain the products either directly from the company or from one of its representatives. Conviviality is not an empty word in the Land of the Green Fairy; if you pass by the region you can always give a call to the Director Jacques Benguerel, who will let you discover his treasures.
