Between high-tech and nature

ImageA five-star hotel, but one completely outside the norm: 40 bungalows, some on stilts above the lake. This was the hotel of the National Exhibition 2002 and serves to reflect the provocative nature of the event. The exterior, an “alignment of matchboxes”, contrasts with an attractive interior aimed at a clientèle for whom “design” is of primordial importance.
For those who love gadgets, a portable keyboard controls the shutters, the lighting levels and the giant plasma screen. The exterior is a delight if you like life in the open air. A large terrace allows those from the bungalows on stilts direct access to the lake with, as a bonus, an extraordinary view of the Alps. All reasons to try this unusual hotel and form one’s own opinion.

Bungalows : CHF 385-660 according to type and the time of year. A romantic escapade: (CHF 440 per person) including aperitif, gastronomic meal, champagne, flowers, one night’s accommodation in a lakeside pavilion, breakfast.
