Vienne

Located 30 km south of Lyon, along the valley of the Rhône, Vienne has developed between the river and the hills for more than 2000 years, bequeathing a most prestigious architectural heritage. A region full of history, Vienne shelters many Gallo-Roman and medieval vestiges, such as the ancient theatre. So many monuments to admire, even today. Every summer, for the past 20 years, the ancient theatre of Vienne is transformed into a shrine for musical meetings as part of the «Jazz in Vienne» festival.
