No less than twelve «cross-border»  itineraries are offered in the «Guide de découverte du patrimoine transfrontalier» . Amidst these paths across the fields, the itinerary of Salève - the rocky island that overlooks the Genevan basin - recounts a beautiful love story between man and nature. A walk which, after a small detour through the hamlet of Sierne, its stately homes and Jewish cemetery, takes you through Veyrier where you can discover the medieval church of Saint-Maurice and the castle built by the Count of Veyrier in the 18th century. Following this, you reach the Salève summit by cable car: an outstanding panorama awaits you there, as well as exceptional plant and animal life.

After the trained pigeons, the eagle or bear shows performed in an oriental or tropical setting, Jacques-Olivier Travers and his team present a series of novelties such as the very elegant Horse Falconry show or, in a more humorous vein, Animal Village where chickens, pigeons and rats interact in a town which they have overrun. A unique European park.

Set in the heart of the village, the castle's garden, now restored in keeping with medieval gardening arts: trellised Fruit Trees, Classic Roses, arbor covered with medicinal and aromatic plants, springs. A place for daydreaming and poetry - an abundance of vegetation, forever changing as the hours and seasons go by; a cosmos of color, scents, sounds and textures, all combined to make a journey of discovery, for children and adults alike, into a place of timeless magic, that young people can discover, with help of a questionnaire. Listed as "Oustanding Garden" by the Ministry of Culture. Groups of 20 or over are advised to reserve in advance.
